Internship
SCR, Inc is seeking an intern to help out with various projects, including but not limited to fulfilling review copy requests, data cleansing, filing, scouting for radio and internet sites, help with mass mailings, press kit creation, follow-up calls, filtering Google alerts, and outreach on Facebook, MySpace, and Twitter. Familiarity with and enthusiasm for working with social media is a must.
As an intern working for SCR you will learn various parts of the book publishing business including marketing, publicity, editorial, and fulfillment. You will have the opportunity to work and interact with fascinating authors, and promote meaningful books of high quality.
This is an unpaid position, but we are glad to work with you in whatever way you need to acquire credit for your degree. Virtual interns are welcome! We are looking for a minimum of a 3-month commitment, with 25-30 hours per week. Please send your resume and cover letter to
